I had never heard of Bobbin Gold before getting these twin bars, and after trying them… I kind of wish I still hadn’t.

This chocolate review was a lesson in never judging chocolate by its packaging. The golden wrapper looked premium, but inside was one of the most disappointing chocolates I’ve ever tried. Two bars. Zero points. Maximum packaging, minimum delivery.

Honestly, it might be the worst chocolate I’ve ever eaten. Maybe I’ve had something worse in the past, but nothing comes to mind — probably because this one burned itself into memory with its humongous amount of plastic and zero flavor payoff. It felt like a small environmental crime wrapped in disappointment.

Verdict: Practically uneatable chocolate wrapped in more plastic than the planet deserves.

For who: People who want to ruin their day and lose faith in packaging design. Avoid at all costs.

Chocolate Characteristics

🍬Texture: Dry, crumbly, plasticky – oddly oily and immediately off-putting.

🍯Sweetness: High – but sugar alone can’t save this toxic treat.

🍫Cocoa content: Unknown. Irrelevant. The taste is more reminiscent of oil and packaging than chocolate.
